ECO Community Information Evening – ‘Love Heals’ Documovie Screening

Date

August 24, 2022

The Earth Citizens Organisation Charitable Trust were extremely happy to host the first of a series of Community Information Evenings, last Wednesday the 24th of August located at their office on 457 Kerikeri Road. The attendees were invited to a screening of the Documovie ‘Love Heals’ which was Executive Produced by Mr Ilchi Lee.
Love Heals talks about using the ancient wisdom of energy to realize that you are your greatest healer. It follows the journey of Dana, a chronic pain sufferer, in search of healing. Her partner, Krisanna, is a filmmaker, and together they travel the country to understand how this ancient principle has helped so many heal and to see what’s possible for those who experience this practice for the first time. This film is based on the book, “Water Up Fire Down: An Energy Principle for Creating Calmness, Clarity and a Lifetime of Health,” by NY Times best-selling author, Ilchi Lee. Water Up, Fire Down refers to a balanced energy flow in your body. When you have that flow, you enjoy your life with a clear mind, open heart, and more power.

After the 1 hour and 20-minute screening, two of the Trustees facilitated a fruitful sharing session and question time. The attendees really enjoyed their evening and the insightful and inspirational messages of the movie. Koro Carman, one of the Trustee’s in attendance said that the “Trust have planned a series of Community opportunities that will shine light on a variety of subjects and look forward to these opportunities to engage more community members”.

The next opportunity is scheduled for this Saturday the 3rd of September and is a conversation about composting. All these information evenings and conversations are opportunities to sincerely learn and share

The Earth Citizens Organisation (ECO) was registered in NZ in 2016 and was formed to help develop leaders committed to making a difference in their lives, communities and for a healthier and more sustainable planet. Since our formation, our focus has been to develop training facilities, provide training and educational opportunities and to organise community events that help people to live more healthy and mindful lives. Our mission is to help create a more peaceful and sustainable planet. This mission requires a collaborative effort and we refer to this collaboration as the Earth Citizen Movement. We aim to connect 1% of the world’s population with this movement and our goal is to encourage them to adopt the Earth Citizenship lifestyle.
